Seattle Mattress Company is an expansion of Canvas Supply Company - one of the oldest companies in the Seattle area dating back to 1882; and we are still a family owned & operated company that thrives on keeping things local and supporting our local communities.

 

Canvas Supply Company manufactures our Seattle Mattress Company brand mattresses, and is located in Ballard not far from the Seattle Mattress Showroom. It has been home for years - and in many cases, decades - to many Seattle-area artisans and craftsmen who specialize in creating, manufacturing, and installing just about any marine vessel accessory.

 

As the story goes... because of steady requests by their marine mattress customers to manufacture beds & mattresses for their homes; Canvas Supply Company decided to open up a showroom to showcase their mattress products.

 

Through the years, we've added other high-quality, locally manufactured International brands like Serta (locally manufactured in Puyallup, WA) & Therapedic (locally manufactured in Auburn, WA) in order to give our customers a more diverse & comprehensive selection. And while we do carry a selection of non-locally manufactured organic mattresses, they do fulfill a demand by our customers to carry more healthy, environmentally-friendly bedding options.
