This COMFOR-PEDIC™ model directly compares to the Tempur-pedic™ bed with the following differences. Our COMFOR-PEDIC™ mattress' include more visco-elastic foam, our patented edge-support system, a softer more luxurious feel and a longer warranty.
5.3 lb. Density Top Layer
This is an open-celled, visco-elastic foam top layer that molds to your body providing the comfort you yearn for while eliminating pressure points. 5.3 pounds per cubic foot foam is a dense foam, providing more support. In addition COMFOR-PEDIC™ mattresses have a softer more luxurious feel due to the 13 ILD compression rating. In rating foam compression or stiffness, the higher the number the firmer the foam. For comparison purposes, Tempur-pedic™ uses 5.3 pounds density foam with a 15 ILD (firmer) rating.
Our Visco-Elastic Foam Bedding Offers a Patented "WEDGE SUPPORT SYSTEM" To Provide the Proper Support.
If you sit on the edge of your bed, as most people do, eventually the bed will sag or show the signs of repeated stress in that area. COMFOR-PEDIC's™ patented wedge support system resists such wear allowing you to use your bed without worry. The wedge support system preserves the strength of the edge of the bed which helps you to get up more easily. It also prevents an inclination to roll toward the outside edge of the bed when you are sleeping. Finally, the wedge support system prevents the foam from spreading over time thereby increasing the bed's longevity and preserving your investment.

Many people worry that sleeping on foam will make them hot. Because of our "Cushion Air Barrier", our memory foam beds have an inherent ventilation system which allows a constant flow of air between the layers of foam, preventing heat build-up from occurring. This leaves you feeling totally comfortable at all times.
High-Resilient (HR) Polyurethane Base
The purpose of the base foam is to support the memory foam to properly align your neck and spine. The top layer of foam provides comfort and eliminates pressure points.
Terry-Knit Stretch Cover
A soft, lightweight, terry-cloth, stretch knit cover allows you to be as close as possible to the memory foam to experience all its therapeutic benefits but allows you to easily remove it so it can be washed.
